1. Scope
These Terms define the rights and obligations between the Creator and Users regarding use of the UTAU voicebank コンペキノソラ（セツ・ソラ）［Retake-2026］ (“the Voicebank”).
They apply to the Voicebank’s audio files, oto configuration, frequency tables, included data, character design, character settings, and related materials.
If an outside statement conflicts with these Terms, these Terms take precedence unless a separate provision explicitly overrides them.
2. Definitions
UTAU
“UTAU” refers to the singing voice synthesis software created by Ameya/Ayame.
Use through OpenUtau and other compatible or related tools is also covered.
UTAU Voicebank
A package containing audio files, oto configuration, frequency tables, and associated character designs and settings.
Voice Configuration
Oto configuration, frequency tables, and related configuration files used to operate the audio files.
Creator
The person who created the Voicebank and manages the relevant rights. Where production roles are shared, the term may also include those contributors.
User
Any person who uses the Voicebank to create, publish, or distribute music, videos, illustrations, or other works.
3. General Conditions
Users may use the Voicebank provided that they comply with these Terms and accompanying special provisions.
If the Creator reasonably determines that a work seriously violates these Terms or constitutes seriously inappropriate use and requests removal or discontinuation, the User shall comply.
4. Permitted Uses
No prior permission or notification is required unless otherwise stated:
- Use UTAU, OpenUtau, or other synthesis tools to make the Voicebank sing or speak
- Mix or process synthesized output, including EQ, compression, reverb, delay, and noise reduction
- Edit pitch, timing, pronunciation, volume, envelopes, and other tuning parameters
- Create music, videos, illustrations, comics, novels, and other derivative works
- Create and publish covers while respecting the original rights holders
- Publish, distribute, or sell personal or doujin works made using the Voicebank
Credit is not mandatory, but crediting 「コンペキノソラ（セツ・ソラ）」 or 「薛楚良 / Xue Sora」 is appreciated.
5. Uses Requiring Prior Consultation
Please obtain permission before publicly distributing newly created oto configurations or frequency tables, distributing processed versions of the Voicebank, converting and distributing it as another voice-library format, using it commercially as a company/brand, using it in advertisements or commercial games/releases, or any other use where the scope is unclear.
The Creator may propose adopting newly created configuration files as an official update instead; appropriate credit will be given.
6. Doujin Use and Monetization
Users may profit from ordinary personal or doujin works, including doujin CDs, BOOTH sales, doujinshi, illustration books, video ad revenue, individual streaming/distribution revenue, paid doujin-event distribution, and personally produced merchandise.
No prior permission is required for ordinary personal or doujin activity.
The Voicebank itself, including the original audio files and oto configuration, may not be sold as a product.
Clearly commercial use by companies, corporations, brands, or commercial projects requires prior consultation.
7. Sexual and Adult Content

Adult sexual content is permitted. Please use appropriate ratings, warnings, tags, and zoning.
According to the official character setting, HE does not have a penis. Changing this in fan works is not strictly prohibited, but if possible, please respect the official setting.
In other words: if you can help it, please don’t give him one. Pretty please...
8. Violence and Gore

PERMITTED!!!!!!
Blood, injury, death, gore, graphic violence, and other adult-oriented violent content are permitted with appropriate ratings, warnings, tags, and zoning.
9. Crime and Antisocial Behavior
Crime, drinking, smoking, violence, and antisocial behavior may appear in fictional works.
The Voicebank may not be used to actively encourage real-world crime, directly assist illegal acts, or praise/incite real-world crime, discrimination, or abuse.
As fiction, just keep it reasonably under control.
10. Political and Ideological Use
Political use is prohibited.
The Voicebank and character may not be used for election campaigning, political movements, political advertising or propaganda, support/opposition to specific parties/politicians/organizations, or as a mouthpiece for real-world political ideology.
Political elements may appear as background or plot elements in fiction.
Please do not use Setsu-san or Sora-kun themselves as mouthpieces for real-world political positions. Politics is absolutely off-limits. Nope. Can’t do it.
11. Prohibited Uses
Prohibited uses include criminal/illegal purposes, discriminatory or hate-inciting purposes, infringement of third-party rights, violating platform rules, falsely claiming to be the Creator/rights holder, presenting unofficial works/settings as official, harassment or attacks against the Creator or third parties, malicious serious damage to reputation, and other uses the Creator reasonably judges to present a serious problem.
12. Redistribution of Voicebank Data
Redistribution of all or part of the Voicebank without permission is generally prohibited, including original WAVs, oto configuration, frequency tables, README files, character assets, other bundled files, modified versions, and converted formats.
If official distribution still exists, even friends should be directed to the official source.
13. If the Creator Has Been Unreachable for More Than Three Years
An unofficial archival mirror is allowed only when ALL conditions are met:
1. The Creator has been continuously unreachable through all public contact methods for at least three years
2. Official distribution has disappeared or become unusable
3. No alternative official distribution exists
4. The Voicebank remains unmodified and is preserved as close to the original as reasonably possible
5. README, Terms, and credits are not removed or modified
6. Distribution is free
7. The mirror is clearly identified as unofficial
8. The redistributor does not claim to be the Creator or official administrator
If the Creator or authorized rights holder returns and asks for removal, comply.
This exception exists solely to prevent the Voicebank from disappearing and to preserve UTAU culture.
It is not a loophole for saying “Well, the author disappeared, so it’s fine!” and distributing random modified versions.
14. AI and Machine Learning
Unauthorized training by third parties is prohibited.
The original WAVs, audio generated using the Voicebank, and related data may not be used for AI or machine learning without permission.
This includes DiffSinger, ENUNU, MYCOEIROINK, RVC, So-VITS, voice cloning, AI voice datasets, fine-tuning, additional training, models intended to reproduce the Voicebank’s timbre, and publication/distribution of trained models.
This does not apply to the Creator or to anyone with explicit individual permission from the Creator.
For the record, the Creator is already working on DiffSinger, ENUNU, and MYCOEIROINK.
You do not need to kindly think, “Hey, I’ll AI-ify this voicebank for you!” I’ve got it covered. No need to trouble yourself.
Seriously, thank you. But it’s okay. I’ll do it myself.
General-purpose AI-assisted processing such as noise reduction, vocal separation, or mastering assistance is not prohibited as long as the purpose is not to train the Voicebank or create a model reproducing its voice/timbre.
15. Character Fan Works
Illustrations, comics, novels, videos, 3D models, and other fan works are permitted. Outfit changes, hairstyle changes, age-appropriate depictions, parodies, chibi/deformation, and stylized interpretations are generally allowed.
If an interpretation differs from official canon, do not present it as official.
16. Depictions of the Voicebank and Character
Within fiction, the character may cry, become angry, drink alcohol, smoke, be injured, die, have sex, and so on.
A work is not prohibited merely because it depicts unfortunate, dishonorable, unhealthy, or unpleasant events involving the character.
Use intended to harass, attack, or insult the real-life Creator is prohibited.
17. Crossovers and Other Characters
Crossovers, pairings, collaborations, and appearances with other UTAU, VOCALOID, Synthesizer V, and other characters are permitted. Follow the Terms applicable to the other works and characters involved.
18. Limitation of Liability
The Creator is not responsible for disputes, damages, or losses arising from use of the Voicebank unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Users are responsible for obtaining rights needed for third-party songs, illustrations, characters, or other copyrighted material.
19. Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through discussion. If litigation is necessary, a district court in Japan designated by the Creator shall be the agreed court of first instance.
21. Changes to These Terms
The Creator may amend these Terms when necessary. As a general rule, the latest published version applies after amendment. Significant changes will be announced where reasonably possible through the distribution page, social media, or other channels.

As long as you follow the rules and use appropriate ratings, warnings, and zoning, all of that is basically fine.
If you are unsure, ask.
Please do not use him for politics, train AI models on him without permission, or redistribute the Voicebank without authorization.
